Dr John Henderson enjoys the incredible diversity and challenge of being a General Practitioner, especially in the semi-rural town of Bannockburn.
He works to make patients feel both welcome and understood with regards to their health problems and enjoys finding solutions for them.
He has enjoyed extra training and experience in emergency medicine, eye and ear problems, knee, ankle and foot problems as well as skin cancer management including surgery which continues to be a special interest for him. He is a teacher for medical students and training GPs.
Having grown up in Melbourne, he trained in rural areas and settled in Geelong and enjoys pursuits of bushwalking, camping, sailing, and skiing, and especially enjoys time with his family and friends.
