Dr Marzan Adel completed her Doctor of Medicine Degree at the Bond University in Queensland 2019. She was an intern when the COVID pandemic struck.
She has joined the Bannockburn Surgery team to further her training as a GP Registrar through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) having previously worked at Corangamite Clinic in Colac. She has also worked at the Logan Hospital in Queensland and at Barwon Health as a Hospital Resident Doctor.
Dr Adel has a special interest in Geriatrics, Women’s Health (particularly fertility and lactation medicine) and Palliative Care. She is also interested in procedures such as skin biopsies and excisions.
When Dr Adel is not in-practice she is busy caring for her kids. She has twins and a toddler! She loves travelling and has spent some time in the Solomon Islands and remote parts of India delivering health care.
She also speaks five languages including English, Bangla, Hindi and Urdu
