After working as a resident at Barwon Health for a few years, Dr Mohana moved into General Practice in 2020 and has worked in few GP practices in regional Victoria.
As Paediatrics is the special area of interest for Mohana, she pursued Advanced Skills Training in Paediatrics as a rural GP in the Barwon Health Paediatric Unit from Feb 2022-Jan 2023.
Prior to that she completed a Diploma in Child Health in 2016 and certification in Women’s Health in 2020.
Other areas of interest are:
– Women’s Health (pre-pregnancy counselling, cervical screening, contraception, postpartum check and antenatal care)
– Diabetes Management
– Children’s Health (including 6-week baby-check and immunisations)
– Geriatrics
– Chronic Disease Management.
When not working, she loves to spend time with her family. Hobbies include cooking, leisure walks on the beach and river , gardening and long drives with family. Being a vegetarian she loves to try different vegan cuisines.
